BREAKING/ STARTING/ RETRAINING:
Brittany can start your young horse to give it a sound, stable beginning to its long life. She can also take your horse for schooling, whether it just needs some more time put into it, or maybe you aren’t quite happy with how your horse is going. She works with horses from handling the youngster right through to the finished product.
Brittany aims at exposing your horse to as many situations as possible and also working with the rider to ensure a solid relationship, all under the close guidance of Phil Rodey.
If you would Brittany to work with your horse, the charges are as follows:
Board: $20.00 per day
Working: $35.00 per working/ride
She also helps problem float loaders, and can come to your house if you would like lessons on your horse, at your home. Her lessons are at your place or at Dalwood and are $50.00 per lesson.
Brittany conducts clinics open to the public a couple of times per year. You can also arrange to have your own private clinic at Dalwood or at a venue of your choice, if you have a group of 6 or more riders.
HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS:
Brittany can provide you with the tools and instruction you need when seeking a better, more harmonious relationship with your horse. A few subtle changes in the way you approach, handle, ride and interact with horses can make all the difference, and Brittany, with her engaging teaching style can make it relevant to you.
Whether its Dressage, Showjumping, Stockwork, or Western pleasure, competition results will be more attainable if you have a happy, soft horse beneath you. If it’s a deeper collection or a better connection you are after, a little bit of knowledge of how to achieve this in a way your horse can relate to will be an invaluable tool in your competitive journey.
Brittany also works with those who just want to have fun or feel safe on their horse. It could be you are trying to get back in the saddle after a scare, or you’re just not feeling comfortable in your horsy pursuits.
