New Baby!

Milly, a few hours old

Milly, a few hours old

Last Sunday we had a new foal out of Mary by Billy, that we called “Milly”. She had a rough night but by morning we had a healthy foal running around. She is a lovely little black filly that is pretty confident and will be interesting to see how she goes as her life around people begins!
Happy Riding!

Wauchope Clinic Update

Well, Phil and I have just come back from our weekend away at Wauchope. We were both kindly lent horses for the weekend to ride, and it was interesting to see where everybody was at with their horses up there. The weather was quite hot, but still pleasant under the covered arena at the Showground.
Some people were open to learning and others not quite ready, but nevertheless I’m sure at least everybody came away with something to apply to their horses, if not to their life.
Not sure where the next clinic will be, but we will be heading down the road soon enough, I’m sure!
Happy Riding :)

Phil Rodey Clinic - Wauchope

Phil showing the friendly way to lunge "PJ"

Phil Rodey, one of Australia’s most renowned and respected horsemen is coming to Wauchope to conduct a 2 day horsemanship clinic at the Wauchope Showgrounds on the 28th and 29th November.

Local horsemen and women will be amazed at the skill level Phil will demonstrate as he takes course participants through his own blend of unique horsemanship techniques.

Phil spends most of his time travelling to remote stations in SA & WA teaching Jackaroos, Jillaroos and ringers the art of true horsemanship, rounding up brumbies, starting them for the station hands to use on their properties and conducting cow working and horsemanship clinics at his property in Dalwood.
